This event has been postponed until early 2015.

Presented by Coline T Son Lee, CISA, PMP, CPLP

Are your projects on life-support? Are you overwhelmed and frustrated managing multiple projects, limited resources, constantly changing requirements, nit-picky subject matter experts, and shifting business sponsors? If your answer is yes then you need tools and resources to help resuscitate your projects.

Project management is an integral part of talent development (TD) regardless of your job title or role. Having a paramedic kit of project tools can help you and your teams collaborate and communicate, manage budgets, schedules, tasks, milestones, and deliverables to revive and keep your projects alive.

In this half-day workshop Coline will cover six essentials of project management and demonstrate tools and resources ranging from complex to simple, low- to no-cost, cloud-based and mobile-optimized applications, to Word and Excel templates for team-based and individual project work.

This workshop is ideal for TD professionals seeking tools to help revitalize and pump life back into their projects. No extensive background or knowledge of project management methodologies is needed; however, some experience with managing projects will be helpful.

    • Explore a variety of tools from basic to complex that can be used to manage six essential elements of your projects.
    • Determine which tools are relevant and appropriate to your specific project needs and challenges.
    • Practice using tools that help establish the value of training programs, contain project costs and schedules, control requirements, manage subject matter experts, and get final project sign-off.
    • Apply tools to help overcome your project challenges.

Facilitated by Cynthia Clay, President/CEO of NetSpeed Learning Solutions

What if your ability to facilitate meetings and training sessions in the virtual arena was so strong that participants were eager to attend your events?

Virtual meeting and web training platforms such as WebEx, Adobe Connect, Microsoft Lync, and Citrix Go to Webinar are in use in most organizations. Unfortunately companies often make the common mistake of assuming that the same techniques that work in a face-to-face class or meeting will easily transfer to the virtual meeting or training space. Not so! With over 50% of organizations relying on dispersed workforces, it is imperative that managers and facilitators understand how to educate, engage, and collaborate online.

Behind every solid webinar or virtual meeting is a great design that capitalizes on the interactivity tools in the web conference platform. Join Cynthia Clay to learn how to leverage six tools (open chat, presenter notes, polling, annotation, emoticons, and shared documents) to create strong collaboration in the virtual classroom or virtual meeting. Learn how to lead a collaborative virtual team. Take away a design template for a successful virtual meeting agenda.

By the end of this one-day workshop, you will be able to:

    • Use all the interaction tools in your web conference platform to build engagement in classes and meetings
    • Design virtual meeting agendas and training sessions with engagement in mind
    • Minimize multi-tasking during your meetings and webinars

    Who Should Attend

    • Facilitators and Trainers
    • Human Resource and Organization Development Directors

Our presenter, Cynthia Clay, is the CEO of NetSpeed Learning Solutions, an industry leader in the development of high quality, innovative, and successful blended and virtual learning programs.      Bev Kaye Says:

“It is a pleasure for me to endorse Cynthia Clay....She knows where to go, how to access almost anything, and how to put together learning solutions that grab the attention of the learner and hold it!...Cindy's knowledge of the technology available in the social learning arena is impressive and her ability to teach others what she knows is equally so.

I'd say anyone who has a chance to ...learn from her in one of her courses will not go away untouched!”
